Christopher Nolan is a maverick film maker known for directing the famous Dark Knight Trilogy starring Christian Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as Joker. He has also directed critically acclaimed as well as commercially successful films such as Memento, Insomnia being his initial films and The Prestige, Inception, Interstellar and Dunkirk being his films as a famous director. His films received several nominations at the Academy Awards, winning the Academy Award for Best Sound editing and Best Supporting actor by Heath Ledger for the ‘Dark Knight’, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Visual Effects for ‘Inception’, Best Visual Effects for ‘Interstellar’, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Film Editing for ‘Dunkirk’.
Dunkirk made headlines for not just being a film directed by Nolan but also because famous pop singer and ‘One Direction’ star Harry Styles played a supporting role in the film. Dunkirk being his first film as an actor hyped his fans and never failed to create news. However the singer was appreciated for his acting by not just Nolan himself but critics and audience as well.
Nolan’s next film ‘Tenet’ is all set to release in July 2020. The film stars Josh David Washington, Ribert Pattison, Elizabeth Debicki, Kenneth Branagh, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clemence Poesy, Michael Caine and Dimple Kapadia as well. Pattison will be seeing playing the ‘Cape Crusader’ Batman with Matt Reeves directing it. Tenet’s second trailer released on 21st May and has been trending worldwide since then.
