April 30 was probably the toughest day for not just the Kapoor family but people around the world too. On April 29, legendary actor Rishi Kapoor was admitted to the hospital and a day later, on April 30, the actorpassed away. People mourned the loss of the veteran. His family is slowly coping with the loss and all this while, fans appreciated Alia Bhatt for the way she supported the Kapoor family in such a tough time. Rishi and Neetu’s firstborn, Riddhima could not be with her father in the last few days and neither could she attend his funeral as she was stuck in Delhi due to the lockdown. She had to take special permission and travelled to Mumbai by road. During the funeral, Alia was seen taking care of Neetu Kapoor and, was on a video call with Riddhima, since she was not able to attend the funeral.
Alia was also seen at Ranbir’s grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor’s funeral. Ranbir was unable to attend the funeral as he was in New York for father Rishi Kapoor’s treatment; so Alia video called Ranbir during the last rites of his grandmother. Riddhima took to Instagram to share a picture with Ranbir, his girlfriend Alia and her sister Shaheen captioning the post as,”My comfort zone #familia”. Check it out:
