Endhiran starring Superstar rajinikanth was Director by Shankar. The magnum opus film that released in 2010, with the concept of the film revolving around robots. Superstar Rajinikanth was seen playing dual roles that of a scientist and of a robot. The film also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Danny, Santhanam, Karunas and many more. The music for the film was composed by ‘Mozart of Madras’ AR Rahman with Vairamuthu writing the lyrics. The dialogues involving scientific terms were written by Madhan Karky.
The first poster of the film was a picture of Rajnikanth in a robot getup holding a rose to his mouth. Yesterday cinematographer Richard M Nathan took to Twitter to share the photoshoot pictures from 2008 for Endhiran. He captioned it saying, “This was a photoshoot I did for Endhiran in 2008 people thought it was CGI it is not Thalaivar was painted for the shoot check the unreleased second photo. Endhiran went on to become a blockbuster. Its equal ‘2.0’ aslo starring Superstar Rajinikanth along with Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, released in November 2019 making it TWO films for Thalaivar in the same here with ‘Petta’ releasing in January.
