Priyanka Chopra Jonas needs no introduction; as the global sensation enjoys a huge fan following in Bollywood and Hollywood. She starred in ABC Studios’ American thriller series ‘Quantico’ as the character Alex Parrish. The series premiered on 27 September 2015 on ABC, making her the first South Asian to headline an American network drama series. The series received positive reviews from television critics and she was praised for her performance. Later she went on to act in the Seth Gordon’s action comedy film Baywatch, playing the antagonist Victoria Leeds opposite Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. She also acted in Isn’t It Romantic which starred Liam Hemsworth and Rebel Wilson in the lead roles. Priyanka was last seen in Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’ is yet to announce her next project. But reports of her being in negotiations with the makers of Keanu Reeves’ starrer ‘The Matrix 4’ are doing rounds on the internet.
She married singer Nick Jonas in 2018 in a private yet lavish ceremony in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. They got married according to both, Hindu and Christian rituals. Priyanka has starred along with her sister-in-laws Danielle Jonas and Sophie Turner and the Jonas Brothers, Kevin, Joe and Nick in the music video ‘Sucker’ and ‘What A Man Gotta Do’. Priyanka took to social media to share a picture of her father Ashok Chopra and father-in-law Kevin Jonas. She captioned it, “Maybe we both got it from our father♥🎶#HappyFathersDay @nickjonas @PapaJonas.” (sic).
