
Malayalam filmmaker-screenwriter Sachy also known as KR Sachidanandan breathed his last on June 18 at Jubilee Mission Hospital in Thrissur, Kerala. He was 48 years old. Earlier, this week, Sachy was admitted to another hospital for a total hip replacement surgery post which he suffered a heart attack. The director was then shifted to Jubilee Mission Hospital where he was put on a ventilator. He breathed his last at around 9.30 pm on Thursday. John Abraham and other South celebrities including, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Nivin Pauly Dulquer Salmaan and several other actors took to social media to mourn his death. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who worked with Sachy in Ayyappanum Koshiyum early this year, wrote, “Gone,” in Malayalam.
