Sara Ali Khan made her debut with Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. The film was directed by Abhishek Kapoor. The story revolves around Mukku played by Sara, the daughyer of a Hindu priest who falls in love with Sushant’s character Mansoor, a Muslim porter. The film is set in UttarKhand at the time of floods and landslides that occurred.
She later starred in Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh. The film was directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar. She expressed her liking towards Kartik Aaryan when she appeared on Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ with father Saif Ali Khan. The two were rumoured to be dating and even starred in Imitiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. The film released for Valentine’s Day this year and tanked at the box office. This film proved to be the biggest flop in Sara career.
