Deepika Padukone made heads turn with her debut in ‘Om Shanti Om’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The scene where she’s seen waving to the fans and crowd while walking the red carpet became everybody’s favourite. She later acted in several films opposite famous actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Saif Ali Khan, Ranveer Singh, Rajinikanth, Arjun Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Vikrant Massey, John Abraham, Akshay Kumar and even Hollywood actor Vin Diesel etc.
She essayed the role of Leela, Mastani and Rani Padmaavati in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Ranveer Singh potrayed Deepika’s lover and husband in the former two films but played the antagonist in the last. Ranveer and Deepika got married in Lake Como in Italy on 14 November 2018; the day their first film together: Ram-Leela released.
