Kartik Aaryan made his debut into films in 2011 with Pyaar Ka Punchnama directed by Luv Ranjan and co-starred Nushrat Barucha. He later worked with Luv and Nushrat again in Akash Vani which also starred Fatima Sana Shaikh. He later starred in Subash Ghai’s Kaanchi: The Unbreakable. He collaborated with Nushrat Barucha and Luv ranjan yet again from Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. His long monologue from Pyaar Ka Panchanama became very famous. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety was commercially successful and Kartik caught everybody’s attention.
He later acted opposite Kriti Sanon in Luka Chuppi, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in Pati Patni Aur Who and Sara Ali Khan in Love Aaj Kal. Love Aaj Kal was directed by Imtiaz Ali and music was composed by Pritam. Kartik and Sara were rumoured to be dating each other but broke up eventually. Last year, Kartik and Deepika Padukone were seen at the airport grooving to ‘Dheeme Dheeme’ from Pati Patni Aur Who. Deepika wanted to learn the hook step and Kartik taught her.
