Rishi Kapoor made his debut in films with ‘Mera Naam Joker’ (1970) starring his father legendary actor-director-producer Raj Kapoor and Simi Garewal in the lead roles. He went on to win the National Award for Best Child Artist. As an adult his first film was ‘Bobby’ opposite Dimple Kapadia marking their debuts in films. The movie went on to become a big hit and became a craze among people. Both Rishi and Dimple won the Filmfare awards that year for Best Actor Male and Female for Bobby.
